Hatton Bug Zoo

Information

All our activities are run by experienced leaders and take place at either  Hatton Estate, one of our bases in Shustoke (Nr Coleshill) and The National Herb Centre, Banbury Road, Warmington, Banbury.   Children should wear suitable outdoor clothing (sun hats if hot and sunny, warm clothing if cold) and wellingtons are essential for pond dipping.

Please ensure your child brings ample drinks.

An hour of fun in the woods at The National Herb Centre, Den Building.

Pond Dipping

1.00pm

Discover an unseen world, from microscopic creatures to mini-monsters!!!   Don’t forget you’ll need to bring wellies (and a change of footwear because your sure to get your feet wet!!)

Bug Detective

2.30pm

With our large collecting nets, discover some of the wealth of mini-beasts found in the grounds of The National Herb Centre.

Family Fun with Hatton’s Creepy Crawlies

Birmingham Art Gallery and Museum

Once again our Mini-beasts return to Birmingham City Centre in yet another fun packed family day.  As well as the Creepy Crawlies, you can enjoy arts and crafts, a sure way to keep both young and old occupied for another day!.
