Children’s Farm Visits and Environmental Education at Hoar Park Farm

Bringing the Classroom into the Countryside

Hoar Park Farm, set in the beautiful  North Warwickshire countryside, dates back to the 1430’s, with the existing house and buildings dating back to the 1730’s.  These traditional farm buildings now form the centre of Hoar Park Craft Village with the Children’s Farm, and areas set aside for Environmental Activities, within the grounds.  The farm boasts extensive woodlands, streams and ponds, as well as grassland areas.

Children’s Farm

Here you can observe the animals closely in an enjoyable and safe environment.   Children are able to touch, learn and interact with the animals.

Each child booked into the Children’s Farm will receive a free food bag with which to feed the animals.

Art and Nature

Explore the wonderful variety of colour, patterns and textures that can be found in the natural world. We shall investigate these features on plants, animals, birds and insects and how all this plays a part in the diversity of life.
